ENSA Paris-la Villette and the CFA of the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (CNAM) are offering a new bachelor’s-level apprenticeship program starting in the 2026–2027 academic year: the CARE Bachelor’s Degree—Coordinating and Supporting Energy-Efficiency Renovations. The instructor (M/F) sought will be responsible for a project workshop (70 hours) in Semester 1.
Main tasks and activities :
Responsibilities for a Project Workshop (70 hours) – Semester 1 of the Bachelor’s in Care.
This semester provides an introduction to architectural representation, site surveys, architectural analysis, and the analysis of an urban context. Students are introduced to architectural design through a transformation exercise that allows them to explore different scales and become familiar with the relationship between a transformation project and its urban context. The transformation project is approached as a process of synthesis that integrates various dimensions: diagnosis, spatial qualities, uses, structure, light, comfort, etc. Students also experiment with various forms of representation, which are considered tools for design and communication in architecture. The successful candidate will join a team of nine faculty members and will supervise a group of 25 students.

Technical Skills
This position is intended for an architect (M/F) engaged in the practice of transformation architecture.
He or she must demonstrate:
- a culture that allows contemporary issues to be contextualized within the discipline’s long-term perspective, with a genuine focus on ways of living, residential spaces, and the
uses. - Experience in project management for transformation initiatives is preferred.
Know-how
- Ability to integrate, engage in dialogue, and synthesize information regarding the articulation and sharing of the pedagogical and scientific issues specific to the courses described.
- Demonstrate flexibility in judgment that allows for the development of a pedagogical approach grounded as much in the concrete, constructive, and material aspects of architecture and urban design as in more theoretical questions
Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and within a collaborative teaching approach.

Key Economic Indicators for the Architecture Industry
The Architecture Economy Observatory, a collaborative body launched in 2021 by the Ministry of Culture that brings together stakeholders in the profession, has published the “Key Figures on the Architecture Economy” for the first time.
The observatory’s work is part of the National Strategy for Architecture 2025–2029, one of whose measures aims to expand knowledge of the architectural economy in all its dimensions.

Apprenticeship Tax 2026
You have until October 21, 2026, to support the students at our school.By allocating your apprenticeship tax payment to ENSA Paris-la Villette, you will be making a tangible contribution to the funding of three initiatives:- in 1st year: each student receives a back-to-school kit consisting of an artist’s bag, several squares and rulers, a notebook, a drawing board and a pencil. This basic equipment is useful from the very first week and throughout their studies.
- in 3rd year: the study trip organized by the TPCAU and STA disciplines to a European destination, which aims to to bring together lessons in design and construction. Through visits and analysis of benchmark housing projects, students acquire the knowledge and skills essential to their future profession.
- From the L1 to the M2: the purchase of materials (wood, cardboard, clay, straw, canvas, steel, etc.) to create objects designed as part of construction and computer science courses, as well as interdisciplinary educational experiments organized as intensive workshops. During practical exercises—ranging from the creation of models or prototypes to full-scale projects—students explore the fundamental principles of statics and material strength, and learn to master modeling tools and structural analysis.
