The round table brings together practicing architects and engineers, some of whom have created their own structures, and specialists in the field to discuss the particularities of dual training and its impact on career development. Participants are invited to talk about the ways in which their training shapes their career path, during their studies, in their day-to-day professional life, and in their perception of their career and professional identity.

The round table is moderated by Élise Macaire, senior lecturer and researcher at LET-LAVUE, and Juliette Damiens, La Villette Pro project development manager.

  • 4:30 pm – Introduction by Anne D’Orazio, Director of ENSAPLV, and Franck Gaubin, Head of ENSAPLV’s bi-curricular program
  • 16h45 – #1 Conclusions of the La Villette Pro survey – Questionnaire ArchiTrajectoires 2025: Career paths of architects-engineers and engineers-architects. What are the findings on the career paths of bi-curricular graduates?

  • 6:15pm – Closing remarks by Laurence Bertaud, president of the Conseil régional de l’Ordre des architectes d’Île-de-France (to be confirmed), Katya Samardzic, architecture advisor at the Direction régionale des affaires culturelles d’Île-de-France (to be confirmed), and Michel Terré, scientific and technical manager of the ConfluencES project (ANR-France 2030).

The round table will be followed by the opening of the exhibition “Trajectoires. Devenir architectes – Être architecte et ingénieur.e”.
From January 26 to February 19, this exhibition presents the career paths of graduates and accredited architects from the school, as well as the results of the “ArchiTrajectoires 2025 : Parcours professionnels des architectes ingénieurs et ingénieurs architectes” study.
