How can we respond to climate change by reconciling nature and tekné? What is the social role of technology? How might architects reconsider their practices in favor of community projects? The theoretical hypothesis of this research is based on the observation of cause-and-effect relationships between different urban and architectural configurations and their performances: social, environmental, structural, etc., in pre-colonial and informal African cultures.
