Young Architects and Landscape Architects Albums 2023

Created in 1980, the AJAP awards are presented every two years to talented young architects and landscape architects under the age of 37, for projects completed or in progress in France. Organized by the French Ministry of Culture, with the support of La Cité, the awards highlight the future greats of contemporary architecture.

Rewarding the innovation and commitment of young talent
The Albums of Young Architects and Landscape Architects (AJAP) competition honors young professionals distinguished by their design skills, innovation and commitment to societal issues, particularly the ecological transition.
For the first time, the awards are open to architecture graduates who, while not practicing project management in their own right, are exploring other professional avenues: graphic representation, project management, contracting, scenography, cultural mediation, and more.
The winners, who come from a variety of backgrounds, illustrate this ambition to shape sustainable spaces, in a variety of contexts ranging from major metropolises to rural areas. Their work reflects a strong commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

As part of the exhibition, the Cité is hosting an evening screening on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 5pm:
