The Master 2 students who took part in the P904 project workshop in 2024-2025, under the guidance of teachers Christian Horn and Quentin Le Norment, are taking part in the 25th edition of the festival “Les Journées de l’architecture | Die Architekturtage”, organized by the Franco-German association Maison européenne de l’architecture – Rhin supérieur (MEA).
A group exhibition presents their work, along with that of students from ENSA Grenoble and ENSA Strasbourg.
The exhibition of student work explores the evolution of towns, villages and landscapes, as well as the potential for urban development around existing and future stations. Drawings, illustrations and models highlight the rehabilitation of existing buildings, the densification of station districts, the revitalization of villages and the transformation of landscapes along the railroad line from Colmar to Breisach am Rhein. The interventions imagined by the students vividly illustrate the challenges facing this cross-border area of the Upper Rhine.
The vernissage, followed by a round-table discussion with local players, will take place on Friday October 17 at 5.30pm. Free admission.
Founded in 2000, the Journées de l’architecture | Die Architekturtage has become Europe’s biggest cross-border architecture festival for the general public. Every year, they take place in some forty towns in the cross-border Upper Rhine region, with some 150 events in two languages, attracting up to 20,000 visitors a year from France, Germany and Switzerland.
