As part of a new educational partnership between the Théâtre de la Tempête and ENSA Paris-la Villette, students in the Master 2 “Scenography and architecture – from work to place” program have been working on the play “Edward III”, an unpublished play by Shakespeare, to be performed from January 22 to February 22, 2026.
The project, which ran from October to December 2025, was supported by the Théâtre de la Tempête team, who organized a presentation of the theater and a technical tour, as well as meetings with director Cédric Gourmelon and an acting workshop with theater director Clément Poirée.
The students created ten scenography models and designed and set up their exhibition in the theater lobby, open to the public from January 22 to February 22, 2026, during box office opening hours and on performance nights.
On Saturday January 24, a public presentation of the projects by each student team takes place in the presence of Cédric Gourmelon and the La Tempête team. This is followed by the inauguration of the exhibition of set design models.
The students were also accompanied by their teachers Mahtab Mazlouman, Marco Dessardo and Jakob Gautel, and supervised by Alexandra Sá for the exhibition project.
