The École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-la Villette, the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris (EIVP) and the École d’urbanisme de Paris (EUP) offer specialized post-master’s level training in strategic and collaborative planning for the ecological transition.
This continuing education diploma course is registered with France Compétences’ Répertoire spécifique (RS) des certifications professionnelles.
It is eligible for the Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF).
Training objectives
- Training in the management and piloting of programmatic approaches applied to different contexts and scales.
- To provide specialized, interdisciplinary methodological training that addresses the political, strategic and technical aspects of programming.
- Stimulate inter-professional collaboration between project owners and contractors, public and private operators, and civil society.
- Develop and manage strategic, concerted or participatory programming approaches (MO/AMO).
- Draft programming documents for all stages of a real estate or development project.
- Expertise in programming-related activities: studies, project management, consultation, dialogue between client and service providers, evaluation, mobilization and coordination of technical, operational or financial expertise.
D-PRAUG jointly awards three diplomas:
- Diplôme d’établissement (DE) for École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris (EIVP)
- Diplôme propre aux écoles d’architecture (DPEA) for École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-la Villette (ENSAPLV)
- Inter-university diploma (DIU) for the Paris School of Urban Planning (EUP) – co-supervision UPEC / UGE
The course is open to people with at least 4 years’ higher education and at least 3 years’ professional experience in architecture, urban planning and/or construction. Specific directory n°6.

- Project managers and department directors in local authorities
- Private-sector project management professionals involved in managing studies and projects
- Design professionals (architects and urban planners, landscape architects)
