Pro-Paille training alternates theory and practical exercises to learn how to design and build in accordance with the professional rules for straw-bale construction (RPCP 2012). Drawn up by the Réseau Français de Construction en Paille (RFCP), these standards define the design and implementation rules to be applied when using straw as an insulating filling and plaster base. The RPCP 2012 constitute the official and normative framework applicable in France.
Successful completion of the final exam leads to the issue of a certificate enabling designers (architects, design offices) and contractors to be covered by their insurers as “current techniques”.
