ENSAPLV offers four Architect-Engineer and Engineer-Architect bi-courses, in partnership with the École Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP-Paris) since 2006 and with the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris (EIVP) since 2010. These courses bring together two complementary and essential trades in the construction sector.
The courses are aimed symmetrically at 1st-year students at ENSAPLV, as well as 1st-year engineering students in the ESTP’s building engineering specialization and EIVP’s urban engineering specialization.
Places available in 1st year: Architect-Engineer (AI)
Candidates are selected on the basis of their application via the Parcoursup platform.
Two specific Parcoursup streams are offered: ENSAPLV / ESTP Architect-Engineer bi-curriculum and ENSAPLV / EIVP Architect-Engineer bi-curriculum.
7-year post-baccalaureate course
During the first three years of the dual training program, students are enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree program at ENSAPLV, and take basic scientific courses in parallel at ESTP and EIVP. They are then enrolled for four years in the Master’s program, taking courses at ENSAPLV and the engineering school.
The curriculum is set out in study plans specific to each partnership, drawn up in consultation with the engineering schools.

Places available in 1st year: Engineer-Architect (IA)
The Engineer-Architect bi-curriculum is offered internally to engineering students admitted to ESTP-Paris or EIVP, after two years of preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles.
5-year post-prepa integration course after the baccalaureate
The engineer-architect bi-curriculum (BIA) is offered to engineering students admitted to ESTP-Paris or EIVP, after two years of preparatory classes for the grandes écoles.
Students attend a two-year preparatory class for the grandes écoles. Admission to engineering schools is then by competitive examination, with ESTP-Paris specializing in construction and EIVP in urban engineering.
The student then enters the double degree program, taking bachelor’s courses at ENSAPLV and engineering courses at the engineering school for the first three years.
During the fourth and fifth years, students take Master’s courses at ENSAPLV and complete their curriculum in the seventh year.
Candidates for the engineer-architect double degree are selected after admission to the engineering school, on the basis of an interview at the engineering school in September.
2 years of preparatory classes + 5 years of dual training
after the baccalauréat
This dual training program is accessible after two years of scientific preparatory classes
and admission to one of the two
partner engineering schools. Studies are then organized in
two cycles (Bachelor’s and Master’s) at ENSAPLV, and are spread over five
years on the engineering side.
7 years of study after the baccalauréat
