ENSAPLV creates its own incubator for architectural start-ups: Banc d'essai(s)

Banc d’essai(s) reflects the school’s image: committed, open to a wide range of activities and practices, and focused on contemporary issues.
The call for applications to join the first class is open until midnight December 8. The program starts in February 2025.
The incubator is aimed at graduates of architecture schools (DPLG, ADE, DE-HMONP and equivalent qualifications) who have recently set up or are about to set up a business related to architecture in the broadest sense: architecture, landscape, urban planning, scenography, programming, project management or any other cross-disciplinary or hybrid project. Applications will be accepted individually or in groups with other graduates from ENSA or other schools.
The program has three main components: creating, managing and developing a business; this is achieved through monthly meetings offering workshops with expert speakers and alumni-referents, as well as exchange workshops between incubatees.
A maximum of 20 young companies or entrepreneurial projects are selected, demonstrating a commitment (environmental, technical, social and solidarity-based, to a territory or its inhabitants) and a singularity in their approach.
The support scheme assists incubatees in developing their projects from February to November 2025.

Apprenticeship tax 2025: THANK YOU!
ENSA Paris-la Villette warmly thanks the companies and agencies that have chosen to support the school’s students.Their apprenticeship tax payments have made a concrete contribution to financing two initiatives:- in 1st year: each student receives a back-to-school kit consisting of an artist’s bag, several squares and rulers, a notebook, a drawing board and a pencil. This basic equipment is useful from the very first week and throughout their studies.
- in 3rd year: the study trip organized by the TPCAU and STA disciplines to a European destination, which aims to to bring together lessons in design and construction. Through visits and analysis of benchmark housing projects, students acquire the knowledge and skills essential to their future profession.
