Schools Concrete Trophy

The Trophée béton Écoles is organized by the Bétocib, CIMbéton and Fondation École Française du Béton associations, under the patronage of the French Ministry of Culture, in partnership with Maison de l’architecture Île-de-France, AMC magazine and the AAIIA association.

Its aim is to reveal future professionals, sponsor them and offer them visibility at the dawn of their professional lives.

The competition has 4 prizes:

  • 3 prizes for the PFE Concrete Trophy: Future architects can enter their final-year projects using concrete to good effect. Reserved for students who have submitted their PFE for the 2024 and 2025 sessions, at a French school of architecture, or who have obtained a double architect-engineer diploma.
    Candidates may enter either individually, or as part of a team comprising at least one student architect or architect-engineer, and may also include other student architects and/or other student engineers.
    Candidate architects who have not formed a team, but who would like the support of a student engineer, can submit a request to the Trophée béton secretariat, within a reasonable time, so that the request can be met.
  • 1 special prize for the Trophée béton STUDIO: All architecture students in the course of their studies (Licence 1, 2, 3 and Master 1) during the academic year 2024-2025 can participate by freely reinterpreting an emblematic work of concrete architecture built throughout the world in the 20th or 21st century.
    Candidates must present themselves individually.

The prices break down as follows:

  • PFE 1st prize: €5,000
  • 2nd PFE prize: €4,000
  • 3rd PFE prize: €3,000
  • STUDIO price: €2,000
  • Special mention for architects-engineers or engineers-architects

  • Erasmus Days 2026: Grab your cameras for the ENSAPLV student photo contest!

    How about showing Europe in a different light? To mark Erasmus Days 2026, which will take place from October 12 to 17, ENSAPLV invites all students at the school to participate in a photo contest with a European theme.

    Human dignity, freedom, peace, democracy, equality, human rights, pluralism, tolerance and solidarity, justice! Choose one of the core values that underpin Europe and interpret it in your own way through a photograph.

  • All Aboard: Apply for the Travel Program for Young Architects

    Online application portal opens: October 1, 2026
    Application deadline: November 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

    “Immediate Departure” is a travel program that enables young architects to gain valuable experience through travel by setting out to discover different ways of thinking about cities and regions and to examine, on the ground, the state of the European landscape in light of contemporary challenges and the environmental, economic, political, cultural, and social transitions underway in Europe.

    The call for applications is organized by the Quartus Endowment Fund for Architecture, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, the Atelier Parisien d’Urbanisme, the AREP Group, and MAF, and is co-organized with ENSA Paris-Est on behalf of the network of French National Schools of Architecture.

  • FAIRE 2026

    Deadline for project submissions: September 6, 2026

    The Pavillon de l’Arsenal is launching the 2026 edition of its FAIRE call for projects, dedicated to design and urban innovation, architectural and landscape design, aimed at anyone who wishes to invent new ways of shaping the city in the Greater Paris area.

    This call for projects aims to encourage young creators and recently established organizations by awarding grants to eight winners, including one student prize.

  • Créart'UP 2026-2027

    Application deadline: 01/07/2026

    Run by the Maison étudiante de la Ville de Paris, Créart’UP provides annual support for students and recent graduates (less than two years old) from Paris and the Île-de-France region wishing to develop an artistic or cultural project and gain professional experience in the arts and culture sector.

    Eligible fields are: music, theater, dance, visual arts, audiovisual, design, fashion, performance, digital cultural projects, and more broadly all innovative artistic and cultural projects.
