For the third consecutive year, the Close-Up festival is spotlighting architecture schools that have incorporated filmmaking into their curricula: students from the schools in Paris-la Villette, Paris-Belleville, Paris-Malaquais, Paris-Val de Seine, Versailles, and Toulouse will present their short films exploring the connections between frame, gaze, and lived space.
Discover a selection of 16 student films chosen in collaboration with their instructors.

The Art, Architecture, and Cinema (AAC) seminar offers students the opportunity to engage in research-based creation on architecture, the city, or the landscape through the practice of filmmaking. Theory and practice are enriched by questions drawn from the fields of visual and narrative arts, as well as anthropology and philosophy, as they relate to architecture.
A partner of the Close-Up festival since its inception, ENSA Paris-la Villette is hosting four events as part of this 6th edition:
- Friday, November 20, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.: Of Dreams and Cement Blocks by Anne-Sophie Birot and Laetitia Douane, with the directors in attendance
- Friday, November 20, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.: Touching Earth by Jérémie Basset
- Monday, November 23, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.: Brunaupark by Félix Hergert and Dominik Zietlow
- Monday, November 23, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.: *La Terre des vertus* by Vincent Lapize, with the director in attendance
Screenings are open to everyone. Admission is free while seats last.
