After almost a year of competitive dialogue in the ten project sites, the winning groups of the “Quartiers de demain” International Consultation were announced on December 2 at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, in conjunction with the inauguration of the exhibition “Quartiers de demain. 10 villes, 30 projets” exhibition.

Among them: Jonathan Bruter, architect and landscape designer, LĀNOD architecture and landscape agency, and lecturer at ENSA Paris-la Villette – member of the group around LAB705, architect urbaniste mandataire, for the Résidence Ardenne site in Sedan.
At the heart of tomorrow’s neighborhoods
The exhibition presents the 30 architectural proposals that emerged from this consultation. Drawings, models, photographic reports and never-before-seen films will enable you to explore in detail the transformations and challenges envisaged in ten emblematic neighborhoods:
- Marseille – Petit Séminaire district: creation of a green corridor in a complex topographical and hydraulic context;
- Sedan – Ardenne residence: transformation into a heritage eco-neighborhood with rehabilitation of high-rise buildings and development of public spaces;
- Lodève – town center: restoration of the architectural heritage and development of the river banks ;
- Le Mans – Sablons district: restructuring a shopping center ;
- Colmar – Europe-Schweitzer district: development of a 5.5-hectare public space on brownfield land;
- Caen – Grâce de Dieu district: restructuring of a housing block;
- Manosque – East district: renovation of a sports field ;
- Coulommiers – Templiers district: grouping of school and early childhood facilities;
- Pessac – Saige district: conversion of a tower block and creation of a green corridor;
- Corbeil-Essonnes – Tarterêts district: renovation of a boiler house listed as a historic monument.
These projects are demonstrators of transitions, each proposing new ways of thinking about neighborhoods. Adaptation to climate change, new uses, enhancement of twentieth-century architectural heritage: these projects invite us to change the way we look at the priority neighborhoods of the city’s urban policy (QPV).
Free admission for EU citizens aged 18-25 and ENSA students
As part of the exhibition, the Cité offers guided tours, meetings, debates and workshops.
