The position to be filled is part of the Reception, Security, and Reprographics Division of the Logistics and Facilities Department, which consists of 9 Category C employees.
The main responsibilities are:
1 / Safety mission :
- Open and close the school;
- Evacuate the public ;
- Ensure proper operation of I.S.S. and intruder alarms;
- Ensure that OHS records are retained and made available;
- Carry out night rounds.
2 / Reception and surveillance :
- Monitor the premises;
- Answer questions from the public (physical, telephone and e-mail reception) and direct them if necessary;
- Report incidents to your superiors ;
- Manage the loan of keys and teaching equipment (video projectors, laptops, etc.);
- Tidy up the classrooms and the reception area.
The agent will primarily work evenings (5:00 p.m./6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), nights (5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.), or on weekends (during the day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or at night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.).
The reception and security officer may also be called upon to work on cross-functional issues in the buildings and logistics department, depending on the School’s current situation.
