L'Archifoto: Outside the frame

Life at the school abounds. It teems everywhere: from the vegetation growing in the courtyard, to the ants running through it, from the studious students who arrive as soon as the school opens, to the school staff, the parties organized, the lunches shared, the tiredness, the laughter, the tears, the joys. All this life is lived by everyone in different ways, and there are so many of us that we don’t always manage to realize the many ways in which this school is lived: associations, Erasmus, projects, sunshine.
This exhibition is a testimony to student and community life. Because studying architecture teaches us to appreciate it as a complex, comprehensive and deeply political discipline, it’s important to learn how to build ourselves as individuals and citizens. This is where associations come into their own, because they teach us the importance of community, debate and sharing.
Archifoto’s raison d’être is to pay tribute to, inspire and learn from each other.
An exhibition by students for students.

Hello there focal length!
We’re the association responsible for immortalizing moments of school life, so that our fellow students can keep track of these memorable moments for the rest of their lives, share these experiences with their loved ones, and brag about our school and its active life.
In addition to its role as a showcase for student life, the Focale is also an opportunity for enthusiasts to get together for a variety of events, including urban strolls, wild exhibitions, film screenings and photo competitions.
We try to approach and appreciate photography as a tool for architecture, beauty and politics, with enthusiasm, respect and naivety.
